In this Drop, learners will evaluate how well learner-centered growth and outcomes are communicated in their district compared to stated learning goals or the Portrait of a Graduate. They will explore traditional grading practices, understand their impacts, and propose improvements to shift towards more learner-centered approaches. In the Demonstration of Learning, learners will evaluate current district growth and outcomes practices, suggest changes to better align with learner-centered principles, and justify these recommendations with clear evidence and rationale. This Drop aims to foster a deeper understanding of what effective communication of growth and outcomes can look like, promoting educational equity and excellence.
