This drop focuses on enhancing literacy instruction by supporting learners in implementing key strategies in writing, phonemic awareness, and reading comprehension. Learners will explore essential components of effective writing instruction, phonological awareness, and explicit phonics strategies that support reading skills. They will create literacy strategy summary cards and develop a detailed plan for implementing one strategy in their educational context. In the Demonstration of Learning, learners will design and reflect on these strategies to enhance student literacy outcomes in diverse settings.
